COMPLETED IN 2023
The building is defined by a consistently repetitive elevation rhythm, which refers to the structural layout and functional modular division. The façade composition consists of repetitive copper-colored frames filled with silver reflective glass. The vertical arrangement of the facade is additionally emphasized by vertical decorative elements in the form of pipes and profiles of various diameters and lengths, which rhythmically pulsate on the pillars of the window and vertical pillars of the curtain walls. With detail, the new building refers to the neighboring school, designed by Richard Pluederman, erected in 1891-1893.
The basic idea of the architectural and urban composition is to harmoniously complement the frontage and highlight the corner of the streets by creating a metropolitan building, a scale referring to the surroundings. The construction of the corner will be the closing of the perspective visible from the Market Square along Oławska Street.
