COMPETITION DESIGN
The management of the vibrant Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, with their registered seat in the so-called Zamek Lubomirskich, a neo-classical building erected in the years 1782-86, ordered a concept project of a new museum wing - a Gallery located behind an antique building, from the side of the Park. The context and programme turned out to be an opportunity to design an expressive form - the sign. In the axis of a historical assumption, a new, modern architectural form was created on the basis of sculpting tradition, constituting a counterpoint towards the classical architecture of the main building of the Museum. The project resonates the traditions of folies gardens.
